The problem

High income doesn't mean financial control

Household debt in the UAE is at a record high, financial literacy sits below the global average, and most people are managing it all across five disconnected apps and a spreadsheet.

$149.1B

UAE household debt, an all-time high

Household credit grew roughly 30% across 2023–24, driven by credit cards, personal loans and mortgages.

Say their finances block major life goals

Nearly two-thirds feel money limits the life they want — yet most have no structured system to change it.

UAE financial literacy score, vs. 33% globally

Below-average literacy compounds the debt problem. Budgeting, saving and payoff stay guesswork.

How it works

A five-minute conversation becomes a living financial plan

No spreadsheets, no manual entry, no switching banks. Just a chat that turns into a system.

1

Tell us your story

A friendly chat captures your income, debts, family and goals. Five minutes, no forms, no CSV uploads.

2

Get a budget that fits

We build a personalised 50/30/20 budget from real numbers — needs, wants and savings, automatically categorised.

3

Act on what matters

Debt payoff ordered to minimise interest, investment tracking, family goals, and AI nudges when you drift off pace.

Everything in one command center

Budget overview, expenses, AI insights, goals and quick actions on a dashboard you arrange yourself — instead of five apps that don't talk to each other.

Built for the whole household

Children's education funds, elderly-care budgets, tagged family expenses and shared priority savings. Most money apps assume you're one person. You usually aren't.

Why we're different

Built for households that don't stay put

Around 88% of UAE residents are expatriates. Mint and YNAB were built for a thirty-year career in one country and one currency. That's not the life most people here are actually living — so we're building the financial resilience layer that fits it.

What makes expat money different

  • Finite, renewable visas — you plan in two-to-three year windows, not thirty
  • No state pension. End-of-service gratuity is the only mandated backstop
  • Income in AED, but school fees, family support and retirement often priced somewhere else
  • Losing a job can mean leaving the country, not just leaving the role
  • Healthcare and schooling both tied to continued employment

What we're building for it

  • Scenario stress-testing. The logic a risk manager applies to a portfolio, applied to your household: what breaks under job loss, a currency move, or an early move home?
  • A single resilience score. Months of runway, exposure and obligation cover reduced to one number that moves as your habits change
  • Actions, not a diagnosis. Pay this debt first. Hold this buffer. The score is only useful if it tells you what to do next

Questions

Straight answers

Do I have to switch banks?

No. WealthWise sits alongside whatever bank and cards you already use. We're not a bank and we don't want to be one — we're the layer that makes sense of what you already have.

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. No payment details are taken at signup. When we do launch paid plans, beta users will hear about it first and won't be charged without opting in.

Is this only for expats?

No — the core budgeting, debt and investing tools work for anyone. But the resilience layer we're building is designed around expat realities, because that's the majority of the population here and nobody else is building for it.

When does the beta start?

We're onboarding in waves of 500. Join the list and we'll tell you where you are in the queue and when your place opens.

What happens to my data?

Your signup details are used only to contact you about the beta. We don't sell or share them. Once the product handles financial data, we'll operate under UAE data-protection requirements and will publish a full privacy policy before launch.
